Dr. Robert Ketcham is a specialist in prosthodontics who limits his practice to the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). Many patients diagnosed with TMD, experience symptoms including headaches, jaw pain, popping or fatigue, ear pain, or teeth grinding. These can all be symptoms of other conditions, so an examination with Dr. Ketcham is necessary to determine if treatment would possibly be of benefit to you.
At the initial appointment, you will meet with one of our treatment coordinators and Dr. Ketcham. He will review your medical history and symptoms and complete an exam. A panorex x-ray may be taken at this appointment if not provided by your general dentist. If treatment is recommended, the treatment coordinator will present the treatment plan and fees and the possible payment arrangements. Some medical insurance plans provide coverage for TMD treatment.
